WE CARE

“WE CARE” Community Program feeding & keeping Needy PETS with FAMILIES TOGETHER in their homes

WHAT WE DO

We Care” is dedicated to keeping PETS & People together in their “forever” homes and out of local ANIMAL SHELTERS.

WE FEED HUNGRY PETS

The “We Care” feeding program is in effect in selected Church FOOD BANKS in CRYSTAL River and Pet Meals on WHEELS. Other church banks in HOMOSASSA, INVERNESS, and FLORAL CITY will soon be available. In order to prevent sickness in your pets from different kinds of food each week, Our food is chosen with your pets in mind and is delivered in un-opened bags to our distribution partners. We do not use a variety of opened bags. We only accept donations of money for our food from caring people.

WE HELP PREVENT TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES

In our community the bond between families and their pets is -round. Unfortunately, many families are struggling to make ends meet leaving difficult choices about keeping their family pets in their home. Few things affect the MENTAL HEALTH of our CHILDREN, SENIORS, VETERANS, & HOMELESS community members like the loss of a beloved pet.

WE HELP KEEP PETS IN THEIR HOME

Pet Registration! Don’t take a chance with losing your pet. Many people do not realize the importance of owning a pet in your county. We provide a pet with legal pet registration including rabies shots and a County License. All pets, both cats and dogs must have a current rabies certification, and a County license. Many people are not aware of the consequences of not following these responsibilities of pet ownership. If your pet is picked up by the Animal shelter or found without these two important items, The animal will have to get these items plus be spayed or neutered before its release back to you at a high cost.

WE HELP WITH MEDICAL NEEDS

We help pay for medical services not provided by other county services by partnering with low-cost Veterinary clinics when spay-neuter or other medical help is needed

WE CREATE ADOPTION EVENTS HELPING ANIMALS FIND HOMES

WE SUPPORT SENIOR PETS and SENIORS

WE Care” will be providing a “Life after Death” policy available that cares for your pet upon your demise. Many pets are left and end up in the Animal Shelter when you are gone.
